Hiya, I've been absent from this website for a while and stopped drawing for the majority of it. Lot's happened but most of it I like to remain in the dark and crazy year I've had.

Well other crazy stuff that's happened...my cousin Grace is driving...which is weirding the hell out of me. Also my cousin Nora has just turned 20! Who the hell messed with time and made me realize that everyone has grown up without my knowledge?

Other than the phone calls during dinner from my grandfather about asking why his house isn't selling and blasting his real-estate agent...my life has been pretty simple of late, which I think is okay giving how complicated this year has already been. Well, hopefully the rest of the year will go better for all of us!

Wow, the last time I updated my journal was not even in this year...that just shows commitment doesn't it?? Well anyway, I thought I would update a bit on what's happened and relate a few events recently that made me realize a lesson that I needed to learn.

Well, I finished applying to college and recently got accepted into Colorado State University and University of Arizona (I found that kinda weird to go to a university and not have grades and still get in). I did get wait-listed into all the rest but I have decided to move to Arizona for school. I did get financial aid and work study so I have a plan!

I got a job...its a paying job which is pretty much the only good thing about it...here it goes, I am now a part-time employee at the franchise McDonalds. Lol, I have been working there for a little over a month and...its okay, its just...McDonalds.

Alright, social life is good overall, but i'm getting the notion that I've ruined another friendship in the group. I have now learned the valuable lesson of NOT being an Emma Woodhouse (and yes, I read Jane Austen and you should too if you know what I'm talking about, but I'll tell you anyway: in other words, I need to stop meddling and being such a matchmaker). Two of my best friends have been dating for five months and then...as history repeats itself it seems, she broke it off suddenly with him. I just found out today though and am now just angry with my emotions for thinking the thoughts I'm thinking...anyway, so now one of my friends is currently sitting in a dark room by himself and the other is not talking to me so I get the feeling that...it appears the one who got the short end of the stick is more of a friend to me than the one who is silent on the matter and has been for some time. So, in other words, I HATE drama...its stupid, idiotic, and utterly useless...but who can avoid it truely??

Other than that, I'm done with my Global Passage and am wrapping it next walkabout day which only leaves my Practical which will be the last one I finish...whatever.

So here I leave you with this update and my art is currently...well, sucks is the word I call it, so as soon as I start NOT being such a critic of my art, you'll see some more soon enough for my short audience as it is. Thank you and goodnight.

Okay…life sucks ass right now…I feel like I will never be able to be stable in any relationship…my boyfriend and I broke up last week, right before Halloween, so this year it was kind of depressing. All the relationships I’ve ever had last less than two months…most of the time, less than one. I’m all emo right now which I hate being but hopefully I will cheer up someday inside (so if you really want to punch me right now, understandable). I’m sorry to all of my few viewers that I haven’t posted anything recently but I will once I get Photoshop (hopefully) so thank you for waiting patiently for inadequate art by a high school senior.

Summer is in two weeks and I am so ready for it. This summer, I start off by going to Tucson, Arizona to stay with my aunt and uncle for 14 days (or two weeks as some might call it, lol). During that time, I'm mainly going to be driving my aunt around (she hurt her foot a while ago and can't really drive at the moment), and work on my test taking skills so I can be ready to take the ACT in October (I originally took it in April, but got a pretty low ACT score because I freaked out, test anxiety they call it, so I have to take it again). After Tucson, I'm taking a week long course at RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design) in which the course is an intesive workshop where we basically do everything related to art, anywhere from painting and drawing to sculpting and working with animation. After that, either late July/early August, i'm going to stay a week with my dad and meet my brother and sisters for the first time (at least two of them). So, that's my summer, oh and during this time, of course, I will be working on my transcripts and Passages (writing two proposals and two wrap-ups), because I have to get a move on it if I want to graduate next school year (woot!).

Friends wise, I finally got over my fear of being around people (I had this 6 month period where I didn't want to do anything with anybody) and made some new friends. Jamis is this cool guy who's funny and intellegent, and Thorn is this sassy, artistic person, and both of them I hang out with seperately (they don't particularly like eachother anymore, long story). I have other friends of course and my communication skills are slowly getting better.

Boyfriend wise...hmm...I liked a couple of people but there was one I really liked and really respected. I won't tell his name but I asked him out last Thursday...he of course didn't feel the same way about me, and I was pretty shocked to find that I was okay with rejection. It isn't awkward between us even after I said I liked him, in which I'm relieved fully. But I am going to see an old boyfriend over the summer in Tucson and see if we still have feelings for eachother (we didn't necessarily break-up, just lost in touch).

Art wise, I'm starting to pull out more, I'm currently working on this comic I have going on, but my photoshop is on my other computer, which is really slow, so it might take me a while to pull it up. I have some other drawings I have working on as well and hopefully you'll see those as well soon.
